My Company was created in 2006 with all the formalities and approvals of the Peruvian state from our physical office in the Sacred Valley and Cusco, with adequate mobilities, professional and trained guides in trekking, experts in mountain biking, we have the best adventure equipment to provide the best quality service.

My name is Americo Jimenez, founder of Biking Peru Trek, this local company has been created to generate work for local people and to give the best treatment to our customers who come from different parts of the world!

I am an Official Tourist Guide, graduated 17 years ago, during this time I have dedicated myself to the guiding service and also exploring the routes that I offer in all the mountains of Cusco, such as the routes of the Sacred Valley, Laguna Humantay, 7 Colors Mountain, Salkantay Trekking, Machu Picchu, Inca Jungle, Ausangate, Manu, the route of death and all the classic routes.

I have a lot of experience in managing groups of traditional tours, hiking tours and cycling tours, in 2010 I started to participate in cycling competitions Downhill, Enduro and Croos country mode also explore many routes to offer to my clients.

“I participate to a Cycling Club in Cusco” one of the Best Cycling Clubs in the Sacred Valley and Cusco City, conformed by more than 680 members, where we explore more than 65 Routes like.

I also participate in cycling competitions in different places of Peru in my Master B category, getting several medals and re knowledge in the Downhill modality.

SIGLETRACKS >MTB-PERU

Singletrack in Peru describes a type of mountain biking trail that is approximately the width of a bicycle.  It is usually smooth and flowing, but can also feature technical rocky sections, pass over tree roots, and include berms, banked curves, switchbacks, inclines, drops, jumps. Singletrack that descends significantly and in the most downhill direction is said to follow the fall line.   Many mountain bikers in Cusco prefer singletrack over other types of trails, as singletrack is usually designed specifically for the sport, and therefore may have elements that highlight the characteristics of the sport (whereas other types of trails are usually straighter, and do not show as many hills and other special features). Some singletrack in the Andes of Peru (technical trail features) designed to challenge cyclists, such as log piles, log rides, skinnies, rock gardens, gap jumps, and wall-rides.
