Itinerary – A Full Day of Culture and Adventure
08:30 AM – Hotel Pick-Up
We’ll pick you up from your hotel in Cusco or the Sacred Valley and drive to the high plateau near Cruzpata (approx. 3,700 meters above sea level), where your ride begins.
09:30 AM – Bike Setup & Briefing
Meet your professional MTB guide, adjust your high-quality bike, and receive a short safety and route briefing.
10:00 AM – Let’s Ride!
The journey begins with a gentle ride across high Andean terrain, surrounded by panoramic views of glaciers and valleys.
- First stop: Moray – Explore the famous Inca circular terraces and learn about their innovative agricultural use.
- Continue to Maras – Pedal through wide dirt roads, open fields, and farming trails to reach the charming colonial village of Maras.
- Final descent to Salineras – The tour ends with a scenic downhill to the Maras Salt Mines, where thousands of salt pools have been harvested since Inca times.
14:00 – Return to Hotel
After relaxing and taking in the views at the salt mines, we drive you back to your accommodation.
