Itinerary
Day 1:Cusco – Km 82 – Wayllabamba
The adventure begins with an early transfer from Cusco to Km 82, the official starting point of the Inca Trail.
After meeting the porters and guides, the trek starts gently along the Urubamba River, offering beautiful views of the Andes.
First highlight: the archaeological site of Llactapata, with impressive terraces and stone structures that once served as an Inca agricultural center.
Lunch is served along the route, prepared by the trek’s chef.
In the afternoon, the path continues gradually uphill through native Andean vegetation until reaching the campsite at Wayllabamba (3,000 m).
Here, trekkers can enjoy the first night under the stars, with warm meals and tents ready
Day 2: Wayllabamba – Dead Woman’s Pass – Pacaymayo
Day 3: Pacaymayo – Runkurakay – Sayacmarca – Phuyupatamarca – Wiñay Wiñay Wayna.
Day 4: Wiñay Wayna – Sun Gate – Machu Picchu – Cusco
