Ride to Moray
At 8:30 AM, your adventure starts with a ride towards the fascinating archaeological site of Moray.
This initial segment of your tour will last approximately 2 hours and includes the following key activities:
- Cycling along scenic trails surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes.
- Stop at Moray to explore the circular terraces and learn about their agricultural history.
Continue to Maras
10:30 AM, from Moray, we continue for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes towards Maras, a charming Andean town, with the following activities:
- Stop in Maras to enjoy the local atmosphere and learn more about the town’s history.
- Cycling along rural paths with panoramic views of the Sacred Valley.
Head to the Maras Salt Mines
From 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. The cycling journey from Maras leads to the breathtaking Maras Salt Mines, a remarkable site where thousands of individual salt ponds extend across the mountainside. This ancient location has been a vital resource for local communities, with salt extraction practices dating back to pre-Inca times. The ride to and exploration of this area will take approximately one hour. Activities:
- Visit the Maras Salt Mines to learn about the traditional salt extraction process and its deep historical importance.
- Capture stunning photographs of the unique terraced landscape and the shimmering salt ponds.
Lunch at Huayllar in a Country Restaurant
At 1:00 PM, following our bike ride, we will proceed to Huayllar, a delightful country restaurant enveloped by vibrant flowers and lush trees.
This serene natural haven provides a tranquil atmosphere where you can savor a traditional Andean lunch immersed in nature.
This experience will last approximately 1 hour. Activities include:

Return to Cusco
2:00 PM: After an exciting adventure, the tour concludes with the return to Cusco. This transfer will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
